Its got to be David Vs David for the American Idol 2008 finale. David Archuleta and David Cook have it all going for them from the very start, after all they both can sing their way through the phonebooks straight into our hearts. Sayesha simply doesnt stand a chance against these two. Archuleta with his perpetual look of amazed wonder and Cook with his shy smile and modesty.
For me Idol's all about the comments and the banter between Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell. Like during yesterday's show, after David Cook's judge's choice, Simon says..."First round goes to Cook & Cowell."

*Fantasia's become real fat and ugly...you should've seen Simon's expression when she performed during the Idol's ellimination round before Sayesha's exit.*Simon's first girlfriend called him up on the Idol chat to talk about his first kiss;
* Paula had to go for therapy after season 1 of Idols, thanx to Simon;
* I loved the 2006 American Idol top 12... they were the best top 12 ever....
*Simon & Ryan sometimes rehearse being rude to eachother!!

shil, I am all for cook. Simon's so damn proud of himself, I saw that cook and cowell thing too. And I did not see fantasia performing, never liked her from the start, stopped watching that year's idol because of her, her voice used to grate on the ears. Haven't heard elliot's new song yet. And cook's brother has cancer? that's sad...
Fantasia was scary in American Idol this year. i like cook's brother :)
